等離子體顯示器自適應(yīng)低功耗尋址方法
為降低等離子體顯示器(PDP)的尋址功耗,在分析了AERCs,no-AERCs,以及IPS等尋址方法的原理和特點(diǎn)的基礎(chǔ)上,提出了一種自適應(yīng)低功耗尋址方法及其實(shí)現(xiàn)電路——自適應(yīng)尋址能量恢復(fù)電路(AAERCs),同時(shí)也給出了尋址數(shù)據(jù)變化率的檢測(cè)方法。AAERCs首先檢測(cè)PDP各子場(chǎng)尋址數(shù)據(jù)的變化率,然后根據(jù)不同尋址方法中尋址功耗和尋址數(shù)據(jù)變化率的關(guān)系,計(jì)算出相應(yīng)的尋址功耗,根據(jù)計(jì)算結(jié)果,自適應(yīng)改變PDP的掃描時(shí)序和對(duì)應(yīng)的尋址數(shù)據(jù),使AAERCs始終工作在尋址功耗最低的模式下。50英寸WXGA雙掃PDP的實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明:對(duì)于任何圖像,AAERCs的尋址功耗均低于現(xiàn)有的任何一種尋址方法,典型圖案下,尋址功耗最大可節(jié)省81W。
